Kessil AP9X Lighting Schedule (Modified SPS AB+)

LEGAL DISCLAIMER FIRST

!!!!USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ISSUES THAT MAY OR MAY NOT ARISE FROM USING OR MODIFYING OUR SCHEDULE!!!!

This is a schedule we have made for the new Kessil AP9X. This schedule is very similar to the SPS AB+ program which is well known program within the Reef Hobby.

These lights are very powerful, so currently only running at 40% max intensity, we will slowly ramp the intensity up as the corals get used to the lights.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us and let us know at:

Thank you to Kessil for allowing us to test the AP9X and give an honest review.

As we continue to use the Kessil A360X and the AP9X we will keep you updated in our blog with how well the corals respond and color with these industry leading lights.

how deep is your tank

I recently got an IM 50 lagoon and have attached the AP9X. I have the light set at 10 inches above the waterline. Would you recommend the same settings above based on this particular tank.

Thanks

Mike

We have out lights 18 to 20 inches for better spread at the moment, also running a ap9x on a scoly tank mounted at 14 inches, but had to turn intensity down to 25%
