Shipping Policy

Due to the current on going COVID issues with shipping companies, we can only guarantee Live Arrival for UPS Customer Care Center deliveries. Shipping is very unreliable during the moment and for the health and care of the corals and to ensure healthy and live arrival, the best option is to ship direct to a UPS Customer Care Center. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is in the best interest and health of the coral and the customers best interest. Shipping Policy: All live items are shipped by UPS Overnight. Overnight Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $50 and is subject to change without notice. Certain remote areas are delivered later in the day. In these areas we suggest UPS Customer Service Center to ensure health and provide DOA (Dead on Arrival) guarantee. We use specific packing means necessary to ensure the safe arrival of your live coral. In the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival) you must send a very clear digital photo within 2 hours of delivery (UPS posted time). Once we receive the digital photo, and we receive the deceased coral (if applicable), we will issue a store credit. The store credit does not include the cost of shipping. We do not offer refunds, we only give credit toward future orders. Reef Aquaculture Specialists, LLC cannot be held responsible for delays that may cause your UPS shipment to arrive late outside of our control. We can hold corals for up to one week once payment has been received, unless other arrangements are agreed upon. Beyond that, we are not responsible for the coral, and cannot guarantee replacement of the same coral purchased. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

All purchases are final. In the event that an order is requested to be cancelled we can offer you 100% credit for 12 months OR a refund with a 20% restocking fee. This fee will be returned to you in the form of a credit towards reefaquaculturespecialists.com

Arrive Alive Guarantee: We guarantee that all livestock will arrive alive and as described. In the event of DOA (Dead On Arrival) we must be contacted within 2 hours of package delivery (UPS posted time), along with clear photos of the dead coral both in the shipping bag and out of bag. In the event that a buyer does not contact Reef Aquaculture Specialists, LLC in the specified 2 hour time frame, Reef Aquaculture Specialists, LLC reserves the right to decline DOA coverage. Such cases will be reviewed on a case by case basis. BUYER MUST BE AT LOCATION TO RECEIVE DELIVERY, NOT DOING SO VOIDS ALL DOA COVERAGE. No exceptions or excuses, no credit without photo. No refunds or returns on Live purchases. Verified DOA’s will be fully credited towards future purchases (minus any shipping charges). Once the livestock is in your tank, we have no control over the conditions, so no warranty is implied past delivery. Reef Aquaculture Specialists, LLC is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages or other acts beyond our control, to help avoid such delays, we strongly suggest shipping to a UPS Customer Care Center near you. Any DOA's not shipped to a UPS Customer Care Center will be taken care of on a case by case basis. Thank you for your understanding and helping us keep your corals safe and healthy.
